I wore this one out at least 15-20 rifles ago. Lol
I use the lampshade trick. Prop up the rifle and add the hardware. Very effective.

When it comes to decorations in the house she watches me a little to close for things like that to work. Pouting use to work pretty good, but she's getting so that doesn't even help. Now when I see a rifle that interests me and I start telling her about it. She very patiently and attentive listens to me. And when I'm through she says. If you have the money go right ahead. Now I don't know if she doesn't think I have the money or is trying to put the guilt trip on me. Maybe I will have to say. Thank you and go ahead with the purchase of my latest find. It might work for a time or two and give me a little time to come up with a new tactic.
