Recently purchased an upper and was seeking some assistance. It was made by Robert Whitley, same design as the ones shown on accurate shooter articles. Heavy milled out DPMS receiver, side charge, tube forend and 26" bull barrel. Marking on barrel is Sabreco, and build number, along with 6.5ar. Called Sabreco and verified that it was a kreiger barrel 1/9 and they did the barrel work, but he couldn't confirm much since it was an old build. It's a 6.5 grendel, but marked 6.5ar, so in talking to some other folks more versed than me, they assume it was prior to 11 when the trademark was released upon SAAMI specs being obtained. Anyone seen that mark before? Just curious if anyone has any experience, he said they didn't build many in that caliber. Thanks!!!
