Need new barrel (length/brand)

Hello everyone,
I have a .270 win in the Weatherby mark V. I just recently passed the 1500 round thru the barrel. I want a new barrel to be put on. Do you have any suggestion on what brand. The barrel on there now is a stainless steel 24 inch. Would I benefit by going to a longer barrel. I only use this gun for target shooting. Also my current load for the gun is IMR4350 54grains 150 grain spbt.

Lilja, Rock, Broughton, Krieger, Hart, take your pick. If you get one from these makers, the smith that fits your barrel will be the determining factor on how the final product shoots. All make top end barrels.

You will get more velocity from a longer barrel. I would not go much over 27" however.
