need help with 6.5-284

I want to use a remington action. Have a short action in safe but would only be able to single load. If I use a long action will cases feed ok ? Any advice from those who have used or built 6.5-284 using a magazine will help.

I have a 6mm-284 built on a Rem 700 Long Action which was a 30/06. I did nothing with the mag box and I have no feeding problems at all.

Joe the 6.5-284 feeds like a dream from a LA if you use a standard 06 box and a magnum follower. If a guy wants a repeater this is the way to go. It's the way I prefer to build them.
