I am looking to replace the stock on my remington 700 .22-250 vtr since it is not free floating nor embedded. I was wanting to know if a heavy barrel bdl replacement stock from bell and carlson or h.s. would work. Also, hoping to get some help on getting the most accurate one possibly. Thanks for the help in advance

I have a lightly used remington VLS laminate stock I'll sell you for $75 shipped. It has not been bedded, just the trigger hole slightly opened up to accept a timney trigger.
Being a laminate, it would be simple to open up the channel if you wanted extra clearance around your VTR barrel. However, my understanding is that the VTR will fit into a varmint contour.
