need help Just bought a kimber adv tactical

I just purchased a Kimber Advanced Tactical 308. I am trying to decide what scope to purchase. I was looking at the Leupold Mark 4 3.5 10 x 40 illuminated TMR.

Would this be a wise choice or is there something else I should consider???

I guess that would depend on the rifles inteded purpose(s). Is weight an issue? Need more info.

I have used one of those scopes on the Army .308 semi-auto platform and it worked great.

A couple more options would be the nightforce 2.5-10x32 with zero stop/illum and a reticle you are familiar with or a Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44, also with zerostop/illum. I have used the nightforce and like it but I have not used the vortex. Of all the scopes the vortex is the cheapest but I have heard that it doesn't give up anything in quality.

The weight between all these scopes is small enough not to notice once you strap it on your Kimber tactical.
