I'm running a 6x6.8 SPC (6.8 SPC necked down to 6mm). It runs about the same velocities as Hornady's new 6mmARC. My son will be using this for the upcoming youth hunt and keeping his shots under 300 yards. Right now, I have a load worked up using 95gr SST's.

For next season, I'd like to try the ELD-X's, but haven't heard much on them. Is there bullet worth looking in to? This gun will push the 95's to 2850.

Is it in an ar15 or bolt action? I have an ar15 6x6.8 I shoot the 87g Berger vldh our of it with arcomp at 2950ish. Very accurate in my Guns.

Well, the 95gr SST's did a fantastic job this morning.
235lbs dressed
190 yards
It's hanging in a cooler right now, but the bullet feels like it's under the hide on the opposite side.
Just an absolute slob of a buck! I don't think he realizes what he shot, especially for his first deer!
