Need advice on the Hawke Sidewinder 6.5-20x42 Tactical Mill Dot Illuminated

Is the Hawke Sidewinder 6.5-20x42 Tactical Mill Dot Illuminated scope suitable for Longrange accurate shooting on the 300 Weastherby Magnum and the 257 Weatherby Magnum, and will this scope handle the recoil of those firearms?
