My goal is to start with new Hornady/GAP 6.5-4s brass, and take the neck
down to 6mm without altering the body or shoulder (except the neck-shoulder
junction). I already have the brass.

I've never done this before, so hopefully this is not a silly question.
What dies do I need to buy ?
I plan on deburring & chamfering, possibly also crimping, before loading.

Thanks a bunch on this.

Just run it right into your Full Length sizer die for your 6mm round. Back in the late 90s I necked down .284 Winchester brass to make 6.5/284 and then 6mm/284 for two rifles. It worked swell. You are ahead of the curve by having 6.5 brass to start with friend...have a ball!
