Neck bushing die interchange

I am looking to buy a Redding 260 AI neck sizing bushing die.....Is a 260 REM reg bushing die interchangeable with the 260 AI neck bushing die? The reg (neck bushing ) 260 die costs about $20.00 less, and i can't see what the difference would be? Thanks, rsbhunter

An AI shoulder interference would cause a little less sizing length from a non-AI die.
If you're planning to use the 'competition' die, it's sleeve might be tight enough to cause inconsistencies, given the reduced body taper of an AI.

Unless someone knows it would work okay, I'd spring for the appropriate die.

I just got my 220 swift redding dies with bushings. I got it for my 220 swift ai. The ai shell is fatter below the neck so it would not even fit the dies. If you can get the 260 ai dies go with them it will be worth you time.
