Tommy,
Several guys I know have used their LER handgun scopes, and several have gone down. If they are on a light recoiling rig you should be okay.
Personally, I would not use them for the LR game.

I'm with XP.. bought one and it has never even been mounted it was so bad.. I just wanted it for a 22mag but the paralax is real bad...

Was told they would fix it but it costs more to send to get fixed than I paid for it so no go...

Also I have a 3-12 X50mm cheap...LOL

The ncstar scope is the worst optic of any kind that I have ever seen, not worthy of even the lowliest of firearm. It does however make a lovely trash can ornament.
