It was gonna be an Edge, but the fact of no OTC ammo kept me in my 300 rum. Due to recent divorce I had to be on a budget, hence the Long Ranger....
Hawke SW 30, 4-16x50 HMR.....$290
Ultimate Sniper Stock....$170
Sendero Barrel...$100
Ross Schuler Custom Brake....$40
Remington 700 300rum, xmark triggered, SPS .....$600
Bipod ....$40
I only had eight shells on me so I got it on paper...Loving the loss of recoil, as this is my first rifle with a brake:)

Nice looking rig. A lot of people talk crap about the US stock, but I like the look and seems to have a plethora of features. It can't be beat for just over $1,200.

Great looking rig. I'm not a fan of fancy or purdy, just pure business.

I really like the USS and UVS stocks, but unfortunately they don't make one that'll work with my remington dbm bottom metal or I'd have already put my 7STW into one.

For pure function and design relative to price there's just nothing else in their league.

Hopefully it'll shoot as good as it looks.

I used to have a Choate USS - Loved it! When I went out west I had to downsize to the original which cam on my 300 RUM. My gun was 15.7lbs with the Choate. I carried two straight days for bear season and my back felt it after a few days. But yes it has awesome features!

The UVS model is a couple of pounds lighter with the same veatures.

I already had my 300 and the USS. After having that stock sit in my shop for two plus years, I had to put it to use. I didntknow how much the USS was frowned upon, but It can't be touched in price and performance. Im gonna put a b & c tact med when they get more made, as it is a hot item. This Hawke scope has some pretty impressive glass for the cash. They're on clearance due to new packaging.......I feel some rangetime in the future todaygun)

Nice looking rig!
I had a 300 RUM in a US stock and while I found it quite bulky my rifle shot in the .3's so no complaints there. The stipling on the grip and forend is quite aggressive and I scraped open a knuckle on more than one occasion. If I had kept it I was going to smooth out the stipling a bit. One really nice feature is the side mounted sling studs. They make it much easier to carry a rifle slung over the back while keeping the bolt and bipod from digging into you.

Hey really nice rig...have you shot more ammo out of it yet? I am at present working on a collection of faux sniper rifles, really fun project...good luck on that nice rifle...ElDee

I'm going to pick up my ammo in the morning, it just got in today. Im glad it just got here bc the weather is waaaaaayyy nice now compared to our recent heat wave!

Finally got my ammo and range time. They sent me power level 2 shells and I had to wait another week or so before I found some decent shells. Store 30 miles away had 180 grain core lok for 50u bucks which is a deal around here. I put her in a choate tactical stock to lighten it up...and it is just how I want it. She shoots great. I changed up my hold on this 36 shot group , the two shots I had it tucked tight in shoulder
