Very Nice, now what's next? U do realize This rabbit hole is long and deep? So buckle your seat belt my friend and continue to post your next builds....
Now I've got to build my load for it! Sitting on an 8lb jug of Varget and 500 Berger 168gr Classic Hunter projectiles with a giant pile of sized and trimmed brass.

Good looking rig! My first one was a Remington 700 270 WSM, which was the first gun I bought myself, that I rechambered to a 300 WSM using a good friends late fathers barrel. His dad was a captain here at the fire department for 30 years and passed away rather quickly from cancer. This rifle has so much sentimental value and meaning to both him and I. My daughter killed her first deer 4 years ago with it and then her first buck this year with it. I just sold the McMillan it's in and ordering another Mesa Precision to lighten it up a bit.

What does the rifle with brake only weigh?

6lb 8oz

For reference points, some factory carbon fiber barrel, mag fed, adjustable ultralight stock options in 308 with short barrels and brakes are:

Christiansen Arms BA Tactical 20" - 7lb 7oz
Springfield Waypoint 20" - 7lb 5oz
Fierce Carbon Rival XP 22" - 6lb 5oz
Bergara Premier Divide 22" - 7lb 3oz

That's a good looking rifle. How do you like that stock? I was looking at getting one for my rifle.

The stock is fantastic. Palm swell is perfect for me, adjustable cheek riser is a clear upgrade over non-adjustable, perfectly rigid, and it has built in QD swivels and mlok rails (which I also had painted bronze for style points).
