Here is my Dad's (30yrbrd) 30/375 S.I. All gunsmithing work done by Nathan Dagley at Straight Shot Gunsmithing. Parts: Remington 700 LA (originally a 300 RUM) trued up with a new PTG bolt handle tigged for proper timing and coated in titanium KG Kote. Nate's "Tactical Traction" bolt knob, coated titanium. Fluted bolt, flutes are coated black, the rest of the bolt is coated titanium. Jewel Trigger. Factory bottom metal, coated titanium. .25" surface ground recoil lug pinned to action. Brux 1:10 twist Remington Varmint contour finished at 26" chambered in 30/375 Sherman Improved (elkaholic's design) spiral fluted with the flutes coated black and rest of the barrel coated titanium. Nate's 7/8" V port Vaporizer muzzle brake turned to match the barrel contour, and coated titanium. Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist (A2 style). EGW 20 MOA one piece base. Burris 30MM extreme tactical rings. Sightron SIII 6-24x50 MOA-2 reticle. (Yet to be bought and installed, my Mom said no more money on guns until our house is sold, we have an offer on it and are waiting on an appraisal and inspection. :) ) Caldwell 9-13" pivot bipod with notched legs. A special thanks to Rich (elkaholic) for letting me rent his reamer and go guage and answering all my questions (believe me, there were LOTS of them  ) and to Nathan for the awesome work, I am truly blown away by the attention to detail. All my future builds will go to him. Nate said this was the tightest twist fluting he has ever done and i think it looks awesome! I still have to inlet one small section of the stock around the shank of the barrel and fireform some brass using the COW method. For more info on the cartridge, take a look at this thread: http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/new-30-375-wildcat-80853/ The first post on page 37 shows a picture of the forming process and the water capacities. Enjoy, let me know what you think!
