Muzzle Brake Bullet Clearance

What are you guys running for bullet clearance on your 338 Lapuas and other big 338's I am thinking of a Muscle Brake with .020 clearance. any info would be good.

If properly installed .020 thou is enough (.010 each side) .

Some people like .025 to .040 clearance to make sure that the bullet does not touch
the break when fired.

I like .020 and think that the break works better when tolerance is close.

Testing has shown .020" clearance is about optimal. Tighter causes accuracy problems. Looser does not reduce recoil.
