Was out on foot for a couple of hours this morning, and fortunate enough to run into some of our local wildlife. Had the .25-06 along too - but didn't see a coyote. Here's a few shots, central Washington:
Sorry the eagle photo is so blurry, he was moving fast and I was having a tough time tracking him. A month ago the canyon was blanketed in fairly deep snow. Most of it has melted, and there's been almost no snowfall for a month. I'm afraid we're in for a really dry summer unless something changes fast... It was a great morning for a hike! High 30's, light breeze, clear skies and the wildlife was out and moving. Nice!
