Jacob spent a lot of time pre-season glassing for Bull Moose. He was 20 miles back on the last day of their hunt. That morning he climbed a ridge behind his camp to glass a drainage. He spotted this Bull a mile and a half away from the camp.
I'll let Jacob share from here. "I called him down to a clearing 433 yards from me and made a hard quartering / frontal shot. I gave him two more rounds as insurance, but unfortunately, as I was breaking the trigger on the third shot, he started falling causing the bullet to hit his main beam."
Jacob used a 20" 7mm PRC and the 145 Hammer HHT bullet with a MV of 3,224 FPS. Congratulations on hard work and success on an incredible Bull.
