So I noticed that the most anti-gun candidate won the Democrat primary. On multiple websites she is seen proudly declaring her support for a ban on semi-automatic firearms. The following is from her own campaign site "Kathleen supports the Second Amendment. She is a gun owner. But four courts have declined to extend Second Amendment protections to military-style weapons. These are firearms designed to kill and maim quickly and broadly, not hunting equipment or for self-defense." So she claims that she is a "gun owner" but states that military-style weapons are not for hunting or self-defense. Claims like that make me doubt her having any sort of firearm knowledge or actually owning and using a firearm. And we should all know by now that with ignorance like that she will not hesitate, in the name of keeping everyone safe from "sniper rifles", to vote away our rights to own things like .338s .408s and .50s as well. Montana's current house representative, Greg Gianforte, is a known supporter of the Second Amendment. I would trust him over Kathleen Williams to protect our gun rights. If you live in Montana make sure you inform your fellow gun owners of the imminent threat that Kathleen Williams poses to the 2nd Amendment. And emphasize the importance of getting out and voting for a candidate that will defend their Second Amendment rights Here are some links Williams: https://kathleenformontana.com/issues/ https://themontanapost.com/2018/05/20/kathleen-williams-offers-a-courageous-statement-on-guns/ On this one she speaks of "Sawed-off Shotguns" as though they are so lethal, we all know that decreased barrel means decreased velocity, less lethality. Gianforte https://www.greatfallstribune.com/story/news/2018/03/02/montana-rep-says-new-gun-laws-not-answer/390834002/ http://www.ontheissues.org/Governor/Greg_Gianforte_Gun_Control.htm
