We actually tried to buy a farm just outside Great Falls near the Little Belt mountains. The house was built mostly underground and used geothermal heat. My wife put the brakes on it when the owner informed her of the winter temps

The weather is definitely a natural immigration deterrent, spent this past fall in plenty of remote areas, didn't see any e-bikes, I'm sure there are a few just not in the areas I was in.

I've said for years that we need some butt (no exactly what I said) kick'n winters to drive out the immigrants……both legal and illegal! memtb
