Montana (Blackfeet Nation) mule deer

With a week left in the season I couldn't pass up the opportunity to hunt the fresh snow. Climbed way up into the shale ridges and tracked a buck track into a basin where I was able to get a 400 yard shot on another Mountain Muley. This has been a very good season with the whole family being successful.

People ask me why I love to hunt Muley in the mountains. My response is, it's the closest I'll ever get to hunting big horn sheep lol.

Awesome buck! I think next year me and a friend are going to hunt the mountains and western side for mulies and give eastern Montana a break.
