Model 70 WSM rebarrel

Hey All,

I have a "Control Round Push Feed" m70 in 300 wsm, was the super shadow version. The barrel is a piece of junk( pencil barrel) can group two shots good and no matter what always has a flyer.

Was wondering if I would be able to rebarrel to a 7 sherman max with this action. I can seat some of my bullets out as far as I need too, 2.9 plus with the 175 federal edge, and 212 eld-x that I've tried.

Would love to get th 180 bergers going close to 3k fps in a short action over a 28 nosler. lol. the 7 ss might be a better fit though.

Should work well since you have a mag bolt face.
Not sure if you'd need more room in the mag but you could maybe install a Wyatt's to get you a little extra length.
I hear good things about the 7 Sherman max

I would be happy with 2900 with 180s lol. I don't need to push them to fast.
