Your best bet is to call CDI and see if their bottom metal will accommodate the right mag or use a Wyatts extended box mag with current bottom metal.

I have shot 284 rounds through this rifle, with no problems. I shot this rife yesterday out to 1543 yards in -3 temperature.
The question was removable bottom metal.
I want to have a magazine because the most accurate load is too long for the well.

Not sure about a removable bottom metal but a Wyatt's extended mag box is what I put in mine and it was plenty long enough.
