Minox warranty

Does any one have a idea if Minox warranty will cover their optics from a second owner. Have the chance to buy a used spotting scope at a good price but I'm worried if anything goes wrong with it, will it be covered by Minox. Thanks for any info

I am not sure about a spotting scope. However, the warranty for my ZA5 4-20X50 is not transferable. It is for the original owner only.

Thanks for the reply, I finally got a number to call Minox. The person I talked to said they would cover the spotting scope under warranty no matter who owns or owned the scope as long as it wasn't outright abuse. The remark was good enough for me that I bought the scope. I was really glad because the price on the scope was pretty good.
