I have a type 2 RMR that I am going to be upgrading since it doesn't agree with my eyes. Top shroud has a little bit of wear but at only $375 shipped it's a steal. Have the box and paperwork too. The white marks are just white paint pen witness marks. Comes right off with gun oil. Pictures don't give a good idea of dot clarity and size but it would work well for your needs.
