How old was the firearm you had this stock installed in. I have a semi custom 6.5-06 in a Medalist that I would like to be a little lighter. Its built on the old style 700 action when they still had the safety that locked the bolt the barrel is .793 at the fore end 10.5 inches in front of the action.

The FACTORY 700 I had in it is a few years old. But any 700 BDL should fit it, regardless of year made.
