McGowen custom barrel. Chrome moly in the raw. NOT threaded, NOT chambered. It has a .308 diameter bore. Ready for your gunsmith to chamber and thread for your action in your desired cartridge. I bought this for a 30-06 build but simply just need some cash right now. It is a 1/2 octagon 1/2 round. Taper is ~1.1" to 0.685" at the muzzle. 1-10" twist. It does currently have a couple scuffs distal to the octagonal section. These were there when I received it from McGowen. They said it was from tooling, was completely superficial, and would simply need to be sanded off to remove.
