I am wanting to challenge myself and see how far I can accurately shoot the rifle I now have. I have a Tikka T3 Lite in 7mm-08 and a zeiss conquest 3x9x40
w/ deadnutz mount. The 22" barrel has the 1-9 rifling so I want to use the 168 gr Berger VLD. Anyone have any idea where this scope will max out on elevation cliks (distance) with this set up. The specs say the scope has 64" of internal range adjustment at 100 yards. ( I have no idea what this means) Hopefully this excersize will give me the knowledge to personalize better long range rifle.

Assuming you are in the center of your adjustments you have about 32 MOA (Inches)of come up
in the scope .

This means that you can shoot somewhere between 400 and 500 yards by adjusting the scope.

If you want to shoot further you will need to get a 10 to 30 MOA base this will add to the scopes
ability to adjust higher.

A 20 moa base will add 20 MOA to your scope by pointing the scope down allowing it to be
adjusted down by 20 MOA . add that to your 32 moa and you have 52 MOA of total come up
in the scope.
