Selling my maven RS.5 4-24x50 second focal plane, MOA scope. 30 mm tube. Excellent condition, this has been my load development scope that I have used for different rifles. It has not been hunted with. I love the reticle and was planning to put it on a new rifle permanently, but have decided to try an NX8 on the new rifle. Glass is perfect and clear with no scratches. Scope tube has one spot where it must have hit my safe door (pictured), but other than that it's in perfect condition. Original box with everything in it.

how did it compare to that other one mounted up?
That nx8? Both are second focal plane but I much prefer the reticle in the maven. Not sure how I feel about the nx8 reticle. Giving it a go this hunting season though. The eye box and ease of target acquisition is better in the maven. The glass might be slightly better in the nx8. The turrets are crisp in both, but nightforce turrets feel beefier. Illumination better in the maven. I have another maven still that I will use on my 7 mag, but never have used an nx8 until now. I guess I honestly like the maven more so far for a hunting scope, but I suppose I wanted to try the nx8 because of the name and reputation 🤷🏻‍♂️ But I think the more I use the nx8 the more it will grow on me
