Marlin X7 .30-06

Does anyone have experience with the Marlin X7? I am thinking about getting one in .30-06 to carry while doing ranch work so I don't beat up my nicer guns. They seem pretty interesting.

This might be comparing apples to oranges, but I've just got the Marlin xl7 308. So far I love it. Just started working on 200 yard zero. Shooting 50yards and placing bullets almost in the same hole. Going to the 200 yard range, hopefully this week, to finish zeroing. Hoping to reach out +800. Can keep ya posted if you'd like. But for what your using it for, I think you'll find it a good gun. Has a better than expected trigger. Good luck, captgoul
