In 1952 my father took my mom to a hardware store to buy some rifles for hunting. They purchased a Savage Model 99 Lever Action in 250 and a Marlin Model 336 in Winchester 32 Special. I attached the original receipts. My dad bought the NEW IN Box Marlin 336 for my mom for $70.95 dollars on June 21, 1952. My dad also bought several boxes of "Silver Tips: in 32 Special. My mon has harvested several deer and my first legal deer Harvest was in November 1969 (a 6 point) with this rifle. I have shot a few later on in life and then started purchasing and or making my own firearms. I was at a point in my life when I was starting to sell rifles and pistols in our collection. My father-in-law Bill stepped in ad told me that he would kick my a** if I sold certain firearms. Bill has bought/sold thousands of firearms in his collecting career – He just turned 79. So needles to say we both have a nice collection. I just wanted to post this real favorite rifle since I saw the ad for 32 special ammo. Pictures do not do the rifle justice. I just wanted to share and I am not selling at this time.
