It's not long range, but something I've wanted for quite a while, to go with my 44 mag six shooter. Just received it today & can't seem to find anyone selling stainless scope bases for the Marlin 1894 SS. Got it mainly for show but would really like to mount a scope on it for possible hog hunts that put em just a tad out of pistol range. Thanks to anyone who has some advice or previous experience.
