Selling my 6.5rpm along with an Alaskan guide series scope and 7 full boxes of shells and a partial box. Sighted rifle in when I purchased it, and it hasn't left gun safe since. I'm guessing 2600.00 value. Will sell for 2000.00 with shipping and insurance included. Selling a Mark V 300 magnum ultralight also. It'll be posted in another ad.

Is the scope mounted so far forward because the objective bell makes contact with the barrel or does the scope have 4 inches of eye relief? Thanks!

Your guess is as good as mine. I bought it when ammo was hard to find. And the sportshop had all that ammo. So I bought the gun to go with ammo. Guy at gunshop installed my scope. I shot it in at 100yd and put it away. I didn't notice it is so far forward until you pointed it out.

Perfect! Thanks for the information. I've been looking for a 6.5 RPM or 6.5x284 for a year now and just trying to put the components together before actually purchasing the rifle.

Most actually flip that from ring around to not set the scopes forward on these LA weatherby rifles - pretty much how i have all mine setup. I have an RPM in BC model great shooters. I bet this one shoots - my brother has similar model and loves it as well.

Crazy to say this..because I actually have several 1000yard+ rifles and I'm a accuracy fanatic. But I only bought this for the apocalypse. Lol . And did a quick zero and put away. I think it was about an inch at 100. I figured it'd be a good short range deer rifle should I ever start hunting wv again. But now I have a suppressed 7rum. So I know I won't use it. And wanting to upgrade my thermal for coyote hunting. Two reasons I'm selling.
