Original owner had a Kelbly and Alamo Precision in it. Pic below shows my Bighorn SR3 which is about 1/16" short, not bad but not exact. I removed just a touch of the barrel channel to fit a Helix6 barrel, but cannot see when barrel is in it. I purchased on here a few weeks back, but going another direction. Was loading 7mm RM to about 3.590" in this mag with a little wiggle room left.

Just curious that block built in, would it be senseless to try to bed an action in it? Just curious about the 700 clone actions.

I have bedded them before. Have also done just the recoil lug on them as well.

I am partial to bedding even these mini chassis as I am not a fan of that much metal on metal. ok for the pillars, but not all of the action.

Maybe one of the GS will provide some thoughts.
