Manners Lead Time

I ordered a Manners MCS-T4A stock about 2 weeks ago. Stockystocks said 12 weeks lead time.......and prepared to wait if that is the case. But was wondering if anyone had experience with ordering a stock from them and what kind of lead time they experienced?

I did not get custom camo either.

I have purchased 2 t4a's in the last 12 months, one took 5 months one took 6. Both were well worth the wait!

I got my MCS-T4A in a few days because stockys had exactly what I needed in stock. In fact, I had to ask them to delay shipping because I was going to be out of town.

Boy did I get lucky!

I currently have a T5 with the mini chasis on order and getting it custom painted by Todd Jackson. should be here in about 2 more weeks.

Sorry. When I wrote that comment, I was considering switching to the XLR chassis. But after studying it more carefully, I think I'll stick with the Manners T4A.

I received an MCS-TA a couple of weeks ago, it was promised as 14-16 weeks and took about 20. I was irritated at the extra delay, but to be honest the stock is so nice I quickly forgot about it.

Hope it is worth the wait. it's hard for me to imagine it taking that long to produce a rifle stock. From a business standpoint, they have to be losing orders from those that are impatient like me.

Tom and crew are top notch guys ! It is well worth the wait, their stocks are second to none in my opinion !

Guaranteed they get more orders than they lose. Waiting is a big part of this game. If you have no patience, the gun world is not for you ! Laffin'

That's pure phoooey. They can either step up their production or lose business.

Fortunate for them that I couldn't get the McMillan stock I wanted right away and Stockys just happened to have the Manners stock.

There are plenty of good alternatives.

Waiting around isn't necessary unless you have some special requirement that nobody else can fullfil.
