Decided to sell this project.
700 long action. Bdl bottom metal inlet and proof sendero inlet. Pillars installed. No flush cups. Probably forgetting something.

bought this a while back as it sits. I was pretty much misled on the condition. It needs some attention.
Overall the stock looks good and feels good. From a couple feet a way it looks great. Take a look at pics.
the bottom metal inlet was modified at some point and filled back in and then painted to match. The bedding looks hideous and should be redone. A little work to bed the rifle and bottom metal and this would be a killer set up.

Do you know how/if bdl bottom metal would fit?

What is the weight of the stock ?

Was wondering how long it would be before someone asked that. Manners advertises this stock at 28oz. Throw in a couple oz for bedding and it's likely in the 30-32 oz range

Looking to keep it under 2 lbs finished. Mesa precision has a 26 oz ready to go carbon stock. Probably the route I'll go. I thought I saw Manners listing there stocks (EH1) at well under 2 lbs. Must have been wrong. Thanks

26 oz is a quarter pound lighter. Carbon barrel, 19oz scope, every ounce makes a difference for this rifle. Trying to keep the scoped rifle under 8lbs. Right now with the 26oz stock it's around 7-14.

It will be a tad heavier if you bed it right?.. I get it ounces count.. get a ti action then it will be like 7lbs scoped good luck with the build!! Deal with confidence guys hes good to go!!
