Anybody install one that chimes in house when mail box door is opened? Basically a transmitter sends to receiver in house? Some problems in neighborhood with mail security.

Harbor freight has cheap ones for garage , not sure of distance, but battery operated
The one I have in mind is rated for 350' which enough to cover line of sight need.

Look up YO link on Amazon. They have tons of sensors and a 1000' LOS range.
Installed one and works great! Startles the crap out of us when it goes off! But now saves trips to mail box since mail is delivered whenever they feel like it.
