I like the look of the m24 and I have a 7mm rem mag that I want to put the features of the m24 on to the m700 that I have. What should I look into on building this rifle?
Ignore the twist rates, obviously. I would go with a 1:9 in the 7 mag for launching the 168-180 grain class of bullets. Hope that helps. I think that a couple of barrel manufacturers make a contour that is called M24. Either that or it's a heavy varmint contour. Not too sure though so don't quote me on that.
