Will pick up my new Mauser M12 tomorrow, but already found out the EGW 20 moa base puts my Leupold Mark IV 3,5-10 x 40 way too high over the barrel (almost an inch) Now I'm looking for advice to get the scope lower on the rifle, hopefully with some forward tilt, but all suggestions for a low, clean fit will be appreciated.
