Hi fellow hunters
I am new member to your site and it seems all you guys are pretty knowledgable!! I was recently in an NRA dinner and won a Weatherby mark V in 300 wmag!!!! I shoot a Sako 75 in 270 smag and have never shot a deer farther out than 485 yds.. I want to see if I can get some recommendations on putting together this 300 wmag with a scope for long range shooting (1000yds)and more less get a feel for this long range hunting. Also do you think this is a good cal. and rifle to do the job correctly.
