Ok, for some weird reason while at my local gun store today a made the mistake of picking up a Christensen Arms MCR. WOW!!! The fit was just great and it felt perfect to me!! To top it off it was in 7 PRC which is the caliber I would want it chambered in as well. I am pretty tempted to take a chance on it, but dang.....I have read a lot of bad about the accuracy and customer service. Seems like you either get a really good shooter or a less than acceptable shooter with them. What a shame to find a rifle I like so much and actually be scared to try it out.
So, if you were in this situation, would you take a chance, or would you give it a pass and keep on moving? lol

50/50 chance. I hope you get a shooter if you purchase….but there have been negative reviews with this company. I would not.

Go for it , if it don't shoot to your standards accurize it and make it shoot . I have found no matter how much you like something someone else either swears by it too or criticizes it . Check it out and be your on judge, if it's a great deal . Life's to dang short for all the negative BS

Dang, I would be in the same boat as you if the opportunity presented itself. Personally I think I would bypass the CA and look at Tikka and Seekins.

Lots of nice rifles in that price range that you don't any horror stories about. Friend bought a MPR? In 338 Lapua and had a couple small issues and their customer service made him swear he would never buy another. The rifle shoots but the way they handled themselves left a lasting impression.

Due to my past experience with Christensen arms id pass, though I did have an mpr that shot well. I've heard there customer service has gotten better, but they've already made a bad name for themselves.

There have been some stellar deals here on "road tested" rifles with low round counts. Tough call on a CA.

Boils down to; are you willing to spend that money on 50/50 odds? I might but won't give money to companies that get poor customer service reports from people I trust.

Fwiw I have several friends who own CA and they are all happy.

I have a 7 Mag that shoots amazing. They're not all bad.
