Okay folks, honestly, for me "long range" is about 200 to 250 yards.....sometimes even less!
More than anything, I just enjoy interacting with other hunters/shooters!

Welcome from western Colorado, you came to the right place, for as much as I put into long range shooting, my furthest kill has been a little over 400 yards. So, not all of us have killed things out at the 1000 yard mark but the fun is in the preparation even if it never happens.

Welcome from New Jersey!! Here we shoot Extreme Long Range. I usually need to add salt to the bullet , so the meat doesn't spoil by the time I walk all the way out to deer. As long as the propane tanks and oil refineries are not in the way, of course.

As in many places, our shots can be measured in several feet to as far as you dare to shoot! Personally, I wish that all of my shots could be measured in feet rather than yards. I'm a better shot at feet ……plus it's a bit more exciting! memtb
