Longrange Hunting Match in April? May?

Shooters,

We are considering a longrange hunting rifle match in April or May. We will use steel targets or plywood cut outs of realistic size with steel vitals to hear and see impact. Kind of like 3-D archery except we use steel. Twenty to thirty targets at different ranges. Let us know what you think.

If it is going to include some distances past 1K, I would be seriously interested. Would this be with a partner/spotter?

Basic run down of ranges and rules ?? electronics legal ? maybe a class for electronics and one where everything is done by hand....no hand held computers or range finders.

i might even be willing to drive from ND to go to this. i also think no electronics. reticle rangefinding and no pocket pcs. really challange the shooters and spotters.

Not at all interested in a nostalgia shoot. Did that stuff 30 years ago. I am interested in a course of fire where I can use all of my tools and at long range. Two separate classes would be fine with me as winning is not my objective. Practice is my objective.
