I have run into a small snag on bedding a Winchester model 70 into a McMillan stock. All of the actions screws are to short. The inlet appears perfect top and bottom but am only getting about 1 thread engagement. I need about .200 longer screws so I can fit them. McMillan says no problem call Midway or Brownells. All they have are exact replacement screws. My neighboring smith is Darrel Holland and he suggested Wisner's. All he makes is factory replacements. Does anyone have a secret stash of 1/4-32 screws we can make work?

Otherwise I'm waiting on tooling from MSC to make some. This might be a good nitch for someone with cnc capability to make something no one else makes.

Thanks
Shawn
