Yes great shot, but 1000 to 1500 yrds no way, IMHO 500-600 max, distances can be very deciving on video, Ive got video of shooting goats at 500-600 yrds and when I pan back it seems a freekishly long way but it wasnt!

If it was a 1000 +yrd shot the guy must be a ledgend theres no bibod on his rifle just a sling(still possible however,I see guys shooting 1000 yrds most saturdays with slings,caps, heavy leather jackets etc)so its not impossible.
but the clincher for me that its closer than you think is the boom...thump its to close together for 1000+ yrd shot.

Just IMO, but never the less awsome shot,for what ever distance it was, full to the credit to the guy! Id be smiling too!!!

If you search You tube using "Red Stag long range" you will find this video. The info with it states a 400 yd shot.
