Open to just about anything, not 100% sure exactly what I want yet. Singleshots, bolts, revolver, let me know what you have. I've been toying with the idea for a while of doing some LR pistol shooting and after killing a deer this season with my 357 I've really been bitten by the bug

Honestly .I'm pretty open at this point. If its a bolt pistol or an encore type rig I've got a 400yd range easily available. However I would consider a 460 or the like. I have a 357 and a 7.5" 44mag redhawk right now so probably something with at least 200yd capabilities

Well both the 357 and 44 are quite capable of 200 yard shooting. The 460 will add blast and recoil and accomplish little more.

Spend the money on an FA in 44 magnum and don't look back. The old adage of cry once. I shoot my FA in production class for IHMSA on occasion. 357 magnum, case full of H110/296 and custom 220 grain LBT. It stays supersonic all the way to 200 meters. Average group iron sighted is about 3MOA IF I am on my game.
Buddy has the same in 44 magnum, same result with more recoil.

If you go with one of the single shot platforms, that is a whole new ball game. Quick and easy, get an encore and a 308 barrel. Recoil is very manageable.
i run the same load in my 308 pistol as I do my rifle, Varget and a 150-165.

A little harder for find but I love the .41 Magnums. I have a Ruger Redhawk .41 that is almost everything the 44 mag is but with a lot less recoil. There are both Ruger and S&Ws out there in .41 Mag. Mine's not for sale and in fact, I might start looking for another. (I have two grandsons.)

I have this 460, I'd like to sell for 1200 shipped. Scope included and a box of Hornady ammo

I have a stainless Encore with factory installed break in 7-08. The gun is a fantastic shooter. I have not used it in a few years and while I have not activly tried to sell it, it could be for sale. It is topped with a Leupold VX scope II or III and comes with a second set of grips and a soft bag. With the front swivel stud, you can attach a bi-pod and be rock solid. I have shot it out to 250 yeards with great accuracy, but that is by no means it end range.
