I'm working out of town at the moment. I can grab you an actual weight when I get home. It's not a "light" rifle but it's also not heavy. I'd guess somewhere in the 7lb range.

I think that would all depend on the shooter. I think if you're use to or have practiced shooting right handed rifles while being left handed you should be fine, but that's coming from a RH'd guy lol.
