Needing some recommendations for a stock for a 28 nosler build with a bartlein 3b barrel. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for a Monte Carlo style stock or something with the cheek piece with a hinged floor plate. Not looking for something fancy but light weight is a must.

Hard to beat the Proof Research Lightweight Mountain Hunter stock if weight is the primary factor. I think they are about 20oz.

Would help if you give us a better idea of what else you are looking for in a stock. Manners and McMillan both have carbon fiber offerings, and AG Composites is another popular brand to look at.

Allowme to glum on please.

left handed Rem 700 ADL or BDL Long action recommendation?

light hunter application.

son is a lefty.

What is your goal weight for the stock?

Good morning, I built a 28 nosler Remington base bartlien barrel 3 contour , I have used many of the iota outdoors krux 24 oz stocks , they work very well.

Won't that make your rig all barrel weighted? How will you get enough rear weight to sit on a rear rest and recoil normally?

The 3b weight barrel isn't a heavy barrel. Basically a magnum sporter barrel. Around .700 muzzle. Half pound lighter than a sendero contour. Shouldn't be too front heavy.

Good morning, I'm not discounting any of your thoughts ,but I killed two antelope,1 mule deer and a giant elk last year, it works well for me , so this year I have the same tags and I built the same 28 nosler with a carbon six barrel and put a thunder east suppressor on it and it is on the bullseye every time shot a bear lat week,in colorado
