I just bought a sako 75 in 300win mag. Im looking to put a 4.5-14 vx-L on it. the 56m comes with a longerange dial on the side the 50m does not. I will want to shoot out to 400-600yds on antelope-elk. my problem is the 56 end looks huge, maybe its just me. Is there really an advantage to the larger optic? or is it just a gimmick? it also comes with a 30mm tube, seems like I see more of the inside of the scope than the 1". thanks for any input.
