I just picked up my new kimber 84L in 280 Ackley. Looking at picking a lightweight scope to finish the outfit. Does anyone know the weight of that particular scope? Cabelas says 11.5 oz and midway has them listed at 8.8 oz.
Maybe i am being a little obsessed by those 3 oz but i would like to keep it is light as possible for chasing sheep around the hills. I am thinking of the Talley lightweight base/ring combo as well.
any other light weight scopes to recommend? I am not against a fixed power but i believe they are heavier than the variables.
