Leupold scopes

I'm looking at these two Leupold scopes.

They are close in power range, the Freedom is lower in price and has more elevation adjustment. How does the glass compare? TIA Tom

There's no comparison in the glass the vx3 is a much better scope in all regards. All but two of my guns wear Leupolds the latest generation of vx3 are exceptionally crisp, clear scopes, never had a tracking issue or zero shift. For hunting and light target shooting the vx3 will serve you well.
